Terms of Service

Aurora is operated by Wuling Langyuan Information Technology Center (武陵区浪元信息技术中心), a registered individually-owned business based in China (the "Operator", "we"). "Aurora" and "Aurora Labs" are brand names used by the Operator.

By creating an Aurora account, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Aurora on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

You must be at least 13 (16 in the EU) to use Aurora.

Aurora is an AI-native workspace. We provide access to AI models from multiple providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) and a set of integrated modules (chat, creation, notes, planning, learning, communication, wellness, finance).

Regional availability: Aurora serves users outside mainland China. The service is not offered to users in mainland China, and access from mainland China may be restricted.

We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes.

You own everything you create and upload to Aurora. We have a limited license to store, transmit, and process your content solely to provide the service.

You are responsible for what you create. Do not use Aurora to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, or violates our Acceptable Use Policy.

AI-generated content has no guaranteed accuracy. Verify important facts independently.

No illegal content. No CSAM. No non-consensual intimate imagery. No content that targets, harasses, or endangers people. No content that promotes self-harm.

No automated abuse — do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to overload the service.

No misuse of the AI — do not bypass safety filters or generate content that would violate the underlying model provider's terms.

Violation may result in immediate suspension. Repeat violations: termination.

Free tier: free forever, no card required. Paid tiers (Plus, Pro): monthly or annual, billed in USD via PayPal Subscriptions. PayPal handles all card / bank data; we never see it.

Auto-renews unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing (or directly in your PayPal account) — no fees, no traps. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access is preserved through that date.

Refunds: full refund within 7 days of a new subscription purchase. After 7 days, refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion. See the Refund Policy for details.

All prices are listed and charged in USD. Your bank or PayPal may apply currency conversion at their own rate; applicable taxes may be added by PayPal at checkout depending on your country.

How we handle your data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

We default to not training models on your content. You can confirm and adjust in Settings → Privacy.

You can export everything as Markdown + JSON anytime, even on the free tier.

Aurora is provided AS IS. We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

AI output is probabilistic and can be wrong, biased, or inappropriate. Aurora does not provide legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice.

We aim for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you are on the free tier.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Either of us can terminate at any time. You: delete your account in Settings. Us: 30 days' notice for any reason, immediate for terms violations.

On termination we delete your data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

Governing law: the laws of the People's Republic of China, except where the consumer law of your home jurisdiction overrides.

We will try to resolve disputes informally first — email us. If we can't, disputes go to the competent court at the Operator's domicile, except for small-claims matters you may bring locally.

EU and UK consumers retain all statutory rights including the right to bring claims in your home country court.

We will email you at least 30 days before any material change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
